MISSION:
The mission of the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.

GOAL:
The primary goal of Toys for Tots is to deliver, through a new toy at Christmas, a message of hope to less fortunate youngsters that will assist them in becoming responsible, productive, patriotic citizens.

About verina79

Hello,

I am going through a recent separation from my children's father. At first we were working out an agreement for custody, but now he has changed his mind and wants to go to court. This has been incredibly hard on me now because I had to hire a lawyer and now must also move into a new place. I am also coming to the end of my 6 month fellowship and have not found permanent employment at this time. Therefore, after this week, I will be unemployed. I am usually very independent but this has hit me suddenly. I am just looking to give my children a good Christmas, in the midst of all this turmoil. Its hard to ask for help, but I know that I am struggling right now to make sure I get custody of my children. I would appreciate if someone could help with getting my children some toys for Christmas. It would mean so much to me and my family.

About Mom2sixKids

I am in desperate need for Christmas gifts for my kids and I don't know where to turn. I have MS and use a walker to get around. We have had no income for a few months and are so behind on everything. My husband had a heart attack in August and then was laid off.  I feel very fortunate to have electricity and water at this time.  I have six children, but I am asking for help with my youngest two. The other 4 are older and I feel can understand what is going on.  My six year old little boy is severely autistic, but does understand that Santa is supposed to come to our house and bring him toys. The other child is a boy aged 9. He has to put up with so much having an autistic brother. He gives and gives and gives to his little brother and I know he feels so left out most of the time due to the fact that my attention has to be on my autistic child for safety reasons. If he's not watched very closely he is destructive or making huge messes that I have to clean up. I feel so bad for my nine year old, he sacrifices so much and has become depressed over the last few months. I'm concerned not having a Christmas will send him over the edge, by feeling like no one cares at all. He's a precious, loving little boy who tries so hard to make his autistic brother feel better with nothing in return. We live in Southeast Indiana, just outside of Cincinnati, Ohio.  Can someone PLEASE, PLEASE help me to give my little boys a Christmas? They need clothing very badly too, but we would be eternally grateful for any help whatsoever.  Thank you, and I pray to GOD that some one sees this post.  GOD bless you.  Here's a picture of the boys. The 9 yr. old is in the dark blue shirt, and the autistic 6 yr old is in the plaid shirt.   Thank you!

About abusedfamily

Our family has recently been through domestic abuse and are in desperate need of christmas cheer.  I was brutally beaten by my husband so badley he broke my leg.  He also abused my children and we had to move away suddenly in order to stay safe.  We just arrived several states away and I want them to have something this year since so much has happened to them.  I am unable to provide that at this time and just want my children to feel like children for once in a long time.  They are beautiful supportive loveing little people and I would do anything to give them something back for all the hell they have been through. They're father has disappeared and has not tried to contact them in over a year and is running from child support.  They're stepfather is in jail for trying to hurt them and hurting me.  They are 3 months, 4yrs, and 8yrs of age.  Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

A little help for our little angels

I am trying to help my daughter find some way to give her beautifull little boys some kind of christmas. She is 27 years old and a mother to 3 active boys ages 5, 3, and 10 months. She works two parttime jobs and takes care of her boys on her own (she gets no help from the deadbeat dad) and is struggling to keep their apartment. She has actually been evicted from her apartment but begged the landlord to let them stay until the first of the year so they have a home at Christmas. Her father and I have been trying to help but our income has been cut in half because of cutbacks at work and after raising 4 kids we are now living day to day ourselves. If there is anyone who could help it would be so greatly appreciated. My e-mail is dcogoli@yahoo.com If you would like any further information. Thank you for your consideration.

Help for Family in my Community for Christmas

Hi all,

I am asking if anyone has any size 10/11 or size 5 clothing eiher in excellent or unworn condition for two little girls. I would like to help get some basics that they need. I am not sure about toys, but I suppose that if you have any nice toys for that age groupd that would be nice as well. I am going to donate a food card it will only be 10.00, but I cannot afford much. I am going to make a post for things that I have that others may need. Thank you in advance for anybody that can help.

Lisa
